Rapid Forklift Training

Rapid Forklift Training Inc., a professional forklift training center, has been providing operator training to individuals and corporate clients in Calgary, Alberta. Forklift training courses give new operators the safety-oriented confidence to operate any type of forklift.

New Operator Training

Our new operator forklift training courses are a combination of theory and practical training in a warehouse on a real forklift truck. Topics covered are:

Fundamentals such as components, Factors Affecting Stability, Load Centers, Rules, and Regulations of the powered trucks
Revision of all the operating procedures like circle check, start, shut down, forward/reverse at level ground, parking; safe operation around others
Fundamental Load handlings techniques like Selection of loads, load placement, load stability, and integrity, loading, off-loading, and loading of trailers
Operational Maintenance: Re-fuelling and Battery Charging
Safety Procedures: Identification of potential hazards and environmental conditions that could affect lift truck performance. On request, separate training can also be provided on handling propane
Current legislation and guidelines. Causes of accidents, including injury and property damage
Safety in the Dock Area
Pedestrian awareness

Our Mission

The forklift certification course covers all the necessary skills to become a safe and professional forklift operator. All details of the course will be explained to the new operator. This includes basic theory about forklift machine functionality. The practical training involves hands-on practice. The individual will gradually be introduced to the functions and operation of the machine. As they learn to operate these machines, they will be guided with patience and care. They will be taught how to be safe and efficient forklift operators. This will make them an asset wherever they go or work. This is our goal.

Forklift Certification

At Rapid Forklift Training, we offer forklift certification for various machines like walkie-pallets, dock stockers, aerial booms, etc. We also offer WHMIS training and TDG training courses.

Recertification

Your forklift license is expired? Don't worry! Rapid Forklift training also offers recertification as well. Contact us to get certified.
